Plants communicate, share, they are able to learn, and they even follow mobility strategies. Bioscientists keep revealing more and more information and exchange processes: among plants but also between plants and other life forms. Increasingly complex symbioses come to light.
Besides, art and bioscience are entwined in mutual inspiration. The artists Paula Bruna, Barcelona (*1978), Katrin Petroschkat, München (*1979) and Saša Spa?al, Ljubljana (*1978) open up unusual accesses to plants and their environments. Their artwork casts light upon new aspects of botanical physicality, interaction, and communication. The exhibition invites us to spend time with plants; listening in on and smelling floral cosmoses and their elaborate ways of expressing life and establishing contact.
